Phal Leopard Prince 'SL'

Our favourite colour. Phal Golden Sun 'SL' was bred to Phal Leopard Prince 'SL' to produce all of these offspring. The Golden Sun used was a line bred solid red with the darkest colour and was not only dominant in the cross but produced the most incredible true reds of large size and form. The red colour does not change to purple over time and does not fade. The most interesting and satisfying AQ quality cross. Our thanks to Patrick Lindsay for growing and flowering these reds.

Phal Sika Deer 'SL' was bred to Phal Sogo John 'CH' to produce the selected Leong Memoria Dorothy pictures below.The Sika Deer used was a solid true red with a selected solid red Sogo John. This cross has produced the truest smooth large solids reds that was registered in memory of my mother as dark purples and reds were her favourite colours.

The next generation of reds are in flasks growing well crossing the best Leong Memoria Dorothy with Golden Sun x Leopard Prince and the reverse crosses. These are guaranteed to produce the finest reds and all should be solid. Golden Sun is floriferous for a red producing 2 spikes with 5 flowers. Also crossing the advanced excellent shaped reds above with Golden Sun x Leopard Prince and Leong Memoria Dorothy should culminate in the ultimate reds.
